Founding Members' First Barre — Sunday, October 4th
Opening Day
Barre MT opens its doors toward the end of September 2026 at 3051 Cabernet Dr. Unit 4 — right off the South Helena exit. Follow along as our studio takes shape — from the first frame to the final barre. We can't wait to move with you.
A glimpse of life at the barre — moments from our studio and community.
Every class is low-impact and high-repetition — alternating between the barre and the mat to sculpt your arms, abdominals, and legs. Choose your intensity: Foundation to learn the form, Sculpt to build the burn, Elevate to fire the heart, Stretch & Restore to lengthen and release.
No experience needed — just bring yourself. We work with light hand weights (2, 3, and 6 lb), a Pilates ball, and resistance bands — with heavier options available in Sculpt classes as you build strength. Every movement is small, deliberate, and endlessly adjustable, so you can meet the work exactly where you are.
Learn the Form
Our entry point. Foundation slows the work down so you can feel every position, every alignment, every breath. Perfect for first-timers and returning students alike — the place where the method's vocabulary is taught, repeated, and made yours.
Build the Burn
The signature. Sculpt layers longer holds and deeper pulses onto the foundation, building heat and endurance through high-repetition, low-impact sequences at the barre and on the mat. Where tone is earned, one centimeter at a time.
Fire the Heart
The heartbeat of the method. Elevate layers lively, low-impact intervals onto the barre work — elevating your pulse, building stamina, and lighting up the whole body without a single jump. Sweat, smile, and leave glowing.
Lengthen & Release
The exhale. A slow, deep stretch session built around fascial release, breathwork, and progressive lengthening — the recovery work that makes every other class land deeper. Come for the stillness; leave restructured.
Squeezed for Time
The full method, condensed. Crunch Barre packs the essential work into a tight window — built to fit your lunch break without sacrificing the burn. In, out, and back to your day in under an hour, feeling every minute of it.
Rise & Sculpt
The early-bird favorite. Breakfast Barre is a bright, energizing 45 minutes to start your day — the full method, served with a lighter mood and a faster pace. In before the world wakes up, out feeling unstoppable.
Friday Night Out
The weekend kickoff. Barre Hopping is a fun, feel-good Friday-evening class — the method with a lighter mood, a great playlist, and a room full of friends. Class ends, happy hour begins. Come for the burn, stay for the community.
Move with Confidence
Built for ages 12–17. Teen Barre teaches the same method in a welcoming, judgment-free space — building strength, posture, and body confidence without pressure. A perfect first step into a lifelong practice.
Pre & Post Baby
Movement for every stage of motherhood. Baby Bump Barre supports you before and after baby — gentle, targeted work that rebuilds core strength, restores posture, and helps you feel at home in your changing body.
For now, every class is taught by the founder — personally, and with intention. We'll be adding instructors over the next couple of months as the studio grows.

Founder & Lead Instructor
I founded Barre MT on the belief that strength doesn't have to be loud to be powerful. Movement has always been part of who I am. I grew up dancing, cheering, and doing gymnastics, and later danced and cheered for Montana State University. After college, I traveled throughout the Northwest choreographing routines and teaching dance and cheer camps, helping athletes build confidence, strength, and skill. Years later, I walked into my first barre class at Pure Barre in Missoula and was instantly hooked. I loved that the movements looked simple but worked so deeply. I loved the focus on alignment, control, and intention. Most of all, I loved that barre wasn't about being the loudest, fastest, or strongest person in the room—it was about showing up, doing the work, and discovering what your body is capable of. That experience stayed with me. When I moved to Helena, I found myself wishing for a studio that captured that same feeling: a place where movement feels empowering, instructors know your name, and clients leave feeling stronger than when they walked in. Barre MT was built from that vision. My background in both education and movement has shaped the way I teach. I care deeply about helping clients understand the "why" behind what we're doing, because confidence grows when you understand your body. You'll hear plenty of coaching on alignment, muscle engagement, and movement patterns—but you'll also find encouragement, support, and a community that's genuinely happy you're here. At Barre MT, we believe in progress over perfection, strength without intimidation, and the power of small movements to create meaningful change. Through consistency, precision, and a little shake, barre has a way of revealing just how strong you really are. I can't wait to share it with you.
